On Saturday, Jan 14, Julian Hunt is talking about his latest topic of research, the numerous interesting families who have lived in the fine building known as Castle House, Buckingham, including bankers, solicitors, gentlemen of all kinds and characters. KINGS OF THE CASTLE HOUSE is at 3pm at the Hartwell Day Centre, Thame Rd South, Aylesbury (off the A418 at the first major roundabout west of town.) Doors open at 2pm for an hour's research, with expert advice on general and computer problems, the bookstall, the BGS library for members etc. NB For FUTURE REFERENCE Please note, this January meeting will be the last one held at Hartwell, which after a change of council policy is not longer available for hiring. We are moving (on a temporary basis) to the Walton Court Community Centre, Hannon Rd (just down Ellen Rd from the same roundabout) from February onwards.
