Hi Suzanne William Albon's parents were William Albon and Mary - I dont have a marriage for them yet, and so far have found only one possibility in the Henlow register, William Albon bapt 26 sep 1689, which seems a bit old, unless he was married before ( I do have a marriage for him to Ann Arnold in 1720, so she could have died and he then married Mary) or there is another possibility, William Albon born 1719 in Arlesey, but at the moment there is no proof until I can find a marriage entry. The first born child I have found for William and Mary is Elizabeth Albon born 1739 at Henlow, so the 1719 Arlesey William could be in the running. I am slowly going through the whole register so if I find any new information will let you know. Hi Patti, I'm totally confused. I've found a marriage for William Albon and Ann Arnold in Henlow 1772 which seems to tie up with the rest of the tree. I've also found a baptism for William Albon in 1689 son of William Albon & Rosamond Do you think this could be right. Patti, Following on to my previous email, I have been to the library and got infront of me a copy of the Henlow Parish Register. I have found the marriage entry for William Albon and Ann Handscombe. According to the records he was married to Ann 10/10/1772 and under the marriage it states he was born in CLIFTON. The Clifton Parish Records show a Baptism for William Albon on the 28/4/1751 son of Ben and Ann also 28/12/1752 Wiliam son of Benson & Rach. Where would you go on from here.
