Hi to all I am new to this list and am hoping that someone can help me find some information on my 4x Great Grandfather, William GOODWIN. The information I have on William is listed below, and the assistance I am seeking (if possible) is a lookup of the Parish Records for Caddington for his birth/Christening record, in order to find his parents name. This in turn may help me find more of his family details. Name: William GOODWIN Christened: 27/03/1768 Parish: Caddington, Bedfordshire Religion: Church of England On 17 April 1790 he was convicted in the Stamford, Lincolnshire Quarter Sessions and sentenced to transportation to Australia for 7 years. He departed Yarmouth Roads Norfolk on 17 July 1791 on the ship PITT, and arrived in Sydney NSW on 14 February, 1792.
