Hi everyone, Does anyone have any information about the SYER/SIER family of Husborne Crawley in the 1600s? Also, would anyone be able to check the Husborne Crawley PRs for me? I am trying to sort out if Thomas bpt.1623 and Thomas bpt.1626 were sons of the same Richard. And then if this Richard was bpt 1585 (son of Henry) or bpt.1689 (son of Nicholas). I am also looking for the marriages of these people. If anyone can help me with the family I would really appreciate it. All the best, Donna

Parish register transcript doesn't help I'm afraid. Neither of the two Richards christened 1585-89 was buried as a child (the first Richard to be buried in H-C was in 1625, the son of Richard so was probably the one christened in 1623) The absence of any marriages for a Richard in Beds on the IGI makes it difficult but the number of christenings in H-C, and the timing, of children of Richard looks to me as though there were two Richards reproducing at this time. Equally there is no burial of a Thomas between 1623-26, although one or other of the Thomas's, son of one or other of the Richards, was buried on 27 Aug 1630. Permutate any one from four!
