    3. Kia Ora Jim Bev! I am relying on my memory of your original posting so please bear with me! I THINK you had ancestors in Church Rd Gt Catsworth who probably had neighbours at Church End named the Faireys. Just thought I'd let you know that a great niece of the Fairey family came to Aotearoa in 1878 and settled in Taranaki! There were also Faireys in Tilbrook! Let me know as you expand your family and get more surnames - we might have marriages in common! 3. Hi Marlene, I know you are always on the hunt for FAIREYs. I was browsing in a book of Britannica. No VIII Containing collections towards the history and antiquities of Bedfordshire; viz. Puddington, Luton, and Dunstaple. London, Published, 1783 and made note of a 'Fayrey" entry. on page 217 at Dunstable a memorial of Henry Fayrey & his wife Agnes which lyeth buried under this stone Henry died the 28th day of Dec 1516 under the inscription are five sons & as many daughters It also mentions the funeral pall, that was used. The same as in the Harvard collection from the sounds of it. Then it goes on to mention a John and Mary Fayrey, no dates for them. More information can be found at http://access.gale.com/nlw2006/itshere.html for free access during the month of April. list of the collections available http://access.gale.com/nlw2006/portal.html I used the History, Biography & Literature selection, then chose Eighteen Century Collections online. There is also access to the [London] Times Digital Archives 1785 - 1985 Regards, Carole
