Hello Donna Thomas Bass, son of Benjamin, was born at Maulden in Oct 1824, married Emma Susannah Maddams at Silsoe in 1851, emigrated to USA later and died there in 1870. Therefore there must be a possibility that the Bass family were in Bedfordshire in the 1680s.
