George's age is given as 48 (1881), 56 (1891) and 68 (1901), Susan's age is given as 29 (1881), 39 (1891) and 50 (1901) A George HEAD married a Susan GILBERT in Farnham (Hants) in 1869. This may be my George and Susan. Perhaps not. A family story has George being in the military and stationed at Aldershot at some stage. There is a George HEAD (born Potton) aged 33 in the 1871 census (married) at a military base. This may be the same George... the age is very fluid throughout.
