Donna It is likely she was from Cranfield as the BASS/Es were very numerous around there in the 17th C but her name didnt make it on to the PR If Jane was b mid 1750s - and you look up BASS [batch number P003851] You will see there are other children being christened around that time with her surname...father John [mothers: Elizabeth or Martha - he probably had two wives] But short of their being a Will in Beds Archives or a Poor Law Record I dont think any other document would conect her to a particular family cathy
