    3. Train time from Gatwick to central London is 30-45 minutes. Driving might take 1 and a half hours. According to the Thameslink timetable on http://www.thameslink.co.uk/index.php total journey time Gatwick- Bedford is less than 2 hours I lived in New York for some years and flew back to the UK regularly to see my aged mother who lives in Bedford. I'd choose Gatwick every time and relax on the train. Journey time airport - Bedford is about the same but without the hassle factor. Regards David Patricia Salter <ps015p6402@blueyonder.co.uk> a écrit :Gatwick is a long way from Bedford, its about 1 and a half hours away from London in the South and Bedford is about an hour away from London in the North, so out of Gatwick and Heathrow, Heathrow is far better. It stops in Luton and at the airport. I'm not sure if the same applies to Gatwick but it might be worth checking.
