Hi Donna Sandy Baptisms 1736 May 29 Eliz. illeg. d of Mich Eyres & Ann Dash Could this be your Elizabeth? Illegitimates often kept their mothers' surnames. She would be 32 in 1768. There is nothing on the entry for John's baptism to indicate that Elizabeth came from outwith the parish of Sandy. No mention of John's father, either. Hope this helps.
