Know all Men by these presents that I John Dearmer of Honeydon in the Parish of Eaton Socon in the County of Bedford Yeoman am held and firmly bound to William Law of Eaton Socon aforesaid Grocer and William Brown of Wyboston in the said Parish of Eaton Socon Yeoman Churchwardens and James Crow James Sykes and John Hipweck Overseers of the Poor of the Parish aforesaid in or by Pounds of Lawful money of Great Britain to be paid to the said Churchwardens and Overseers or their certain Attorney Successors or Assigns firmly by these Presents Sealed with my Seal Dated the twelfth day of March of the Year of our Lord 1761 Whereas Sarah White of the Parish of Eaton Socon aforesaid Single woman was lately delivered of a Male Bastard child within the said Parish of Eaton Socon which said Bastard Child may become chargeable to the said Parish and whereas the above bound John Dearmer doth own and Confess himself to be the Father of the said Bastard Child. Now the condition of the above written Obligation is such that if the above bound John Dearmer his Heirs Extors or Admors do from time to time and at all times hereafter fully and Clearly Acquit Exonerate and discharge or otherwise well and Sufficiently save harmless and Indemnified as well the above named Churchwardens and Overseers and their Successors for the time being and every of them as also all the Inhabitants and Parishioners of the said Parish of Eaton Socon which now are or hereafter shall be for the time being, and every of them of and from all manner of Expences Damages Costs Charges and Incumberances whatsoever which shall or may in ant manner or at any time hereafter arive happen occur grow or be Imposed upon them or any or either of them for or by reason of the birth Maintenance Education or bringing up of the said Child and of & from all Actions Suits Charges Troubles Damages and Demands whatsoever touching or concerning the same Then the above obligation to be Void Sealed and Delivered in the Presence of us John Allday John Waller Jun John Dearmer his Mark
