    3. May I just thank Jim for all his hard work in transcribing all the Eaton Socon apprentice papers - I have been waiting with baited breath for a reference to Thomas Richardson who was I believe born there c 1790 - but no such luck. Thomas went on to marry Mary Hooton or Houghton at Thurleigh 6th May 1811, He died in Bedford Workhouse 29th Jun 1847 [There are two burial records for Thomas Richardson, in the NBI 1. Name Thomas Richardson, Date 6th July 1847, aged 57, Place Renhold, Description All Saints Denomination Anglican, County BDF 2. Name Thomas Richardson, Date 5th July 1847, Aged 57, Description Workhouse, Denomination Poor Law Union, County BDF. It appears he died at the workhouse and was to be buried there but obviously family took his body back to Renhold and the 'original record of burial' at the workhouse was not removed from the Workhouse Register.] But I am still trying to get on the Richardson line back prior to c 1790. Anyone looking at the same family?? 3. Hi, I checked the entry in Thurleigh PR and it does say that Thomas is from Eaton Socon, but when I had a look in the PR there wasn't an entry for 1790 or anytime afterwards, so I presume he was resident in Eaton Socon rather than born there.
