Know all Men by these presents That John Rowlett of Saint Neots in the County of Huntingdon, and Benjamin Everitt of Colmworth in the County of Bedford, are held and firmly bound to Nicholas Livett, Thomas Wiley and Edward Pridmore of Eaton Socon in the County of Bedford, in Twenty Pounds of Good and Lawful Money of Great Britain to be paid to the said Nicholas Livett, Thomas Wiles & Edward Pridmore or their certain Attorney Executors Administrators or Assigns For the true payment whereof we bind our selves, and every One of us by himself, for and in the whole, our Heirs Executors and Administrators and every of us firmly by these presents Stated with our Seals Dated this Ninth day of January in the Twenty second year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Second by the grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith and so forth and in the year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Forty eight The Condition of this Obligation is such that if the above bound John Rowlett & Benjamin Everitt or either or any of them, their or either or any of their Heirs, Executors or Administrators, do and shall from time to time and at all times hereafter, fully and clearly Argivit, free and discharge, or well and Sufficiently save and keep harmless and Indemnified, the above named Nicholas Livett Thomas Wiles & Edward Pridmore Church wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Eaton Socon in the County of Bedford aforesaid, and their Successors for the time being, and every of them; as also the Inhabitants and Parishioners of the said Parish of Eaton Socon, which now are, as hereafter shall be for the time being, and every of them, of and from all manner of Expenses, Damages, Costs and Charges whatsoever, which shall of may at any time hereafter arise, happen, grow or be imposed upon them or either or any of them, for or by reason or means of Hannah Creamer's the Daughter of William Creamer of Eaton Socon aforesaid being great with Child, for or by reason of the Birth, Maintenance, Education and bringing up of such Child or Children, that her the said Hannah Creamer now goeth with & shall be delivered of and of and from all other Actions Suits, Troubles, Charges, Damages and (?)dem deeds whatsoever touching or concerning the same, then this Obligation to be void or else to remain in full force & Virtue Sealed and delivered in presence of H Simms Ann Emery Jno Rowlett Benes Everitt
