    3. Hi listers, I have a gggrandmother Susannah Gibson on the 1881 census at 2 No2 Ct. James st. Wardleworth,Lancs. who has 2 sons Robert E Gibson born 1872 and Charles Gibson born 1875 in the USA. My subscriptions to Ancestry and Find my Past do not allow me to search the US census returns, is there some kind person who has access to search the US records would do a look up for my ancestors. I do not have any more information than what is on the UK census. In 1891 they are both on UK census returns, I would be most appreciative if someone could enlighten me. Kind regards, Roy.

    3. Roy, I found your family on the 1870 USA census in Massachusetts. I have sent the image to you off-list. 3. Roy, Most of the 1890 US census returns were destroyed in a fire in the 1920's. A search of the available fragments of the 1890 census do not show Susannah, Robert or Charles Gibson. Do you know what state they lived in?
