Hello Listers, I have been researching my husband's family of Medlow/Boston family around Little Staughton. On the OPR for Little Staughton they seem to have been members of the established Church of England up to the mid 1800's plus. In 1845 Samuel Medlow married a Charlotte Boston in the Little Staughton Meeting House 'according to the Rites and Ceremonies of the Protestant Dissenters'. Could anyone give me any information as to whether there was any one particular circumstance in this Parish about this time that made some parishioners transfer to another Church, or was it an ongoing thing which just happened in people's personal circumstances?
