In reading this thread I thought I would mention that You can now search the English parish records in the British Vital Records CDs from the LDS church at: http://search.labs.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html?datestamp=120412 8722687#p=0 It does not say that these are the same records, but I have found that to be the case in my research. I have this set of CDs and the records appear to be the same. Regards, Carole Also, I have the Books for the Beds Will index and there is an Administration for Samuel HIGHT of Colmworth, farmer 1849. Samuel is also listed in Beds Muster Lists. For the year 1803 Colmworth, Samuel Hite Labourer, [blank for age & children] Class 1. The only other Hite's mentioned are fro the same year, 1803 in Renhold Robert Hite Labourer age 34 3 children under 10 YOA Volunteer Thomas Hite Labourer age 46 [blank for children] Class 4 Volunteer
