Hi List In one of the branches of my Allen tree, I have a James Allen born Radwell c1818, on the 1861 census he is in Felmersham as a widower with his children. I can find him in the 1841 living with his parents William and Mary again in Felmersham. At the moment 1851 is a blank. What I can not find is christening on the IGI, his siblings seem to there (parents William/Mary), I am assuming that although born in Radwell the christening would be in Felmersham? Not sure about Felmersham, but has amyone told you there is a hamlet of Radwell in Hertfordshire? I think it has its own church, but if not, the nearest churches are Baldock, Norton (herts and Stotfold (Beds). Heather
