Hi Barbara John William Darrington and Mary Ann Brace married in Dec quarter of 1882 (Bedford 3b 780 is the GRO ref no) This is just outside the Roxton marriages in the IGI list, unless someone will kindly do a look up for us at Bedford County Hall. Three Mary Brace's! - Mary Ann 3/3/61, Mary Hanes 2/3/62, Mary Ellen 3/9/66 so we need to be sure which one Stephen's list has Mary Ann Darlow I have realised that we will actually be distantly related. Hi Peter, I have tried a Mary Ann Darlow to a John DARRINGTON in all England and Wales. None comes up. I tried a Brace marrying a Darlow none in the time line. Only one that comes up is Mary Ann BRACE. We sent for the 1911 census and she was 49 years old which would tie in with the 1861 birth. bn in Chawston Roxton, she said she was still married living in Chelmsford Middlesex, but haven't found John yet. He may have gone away for a while or still in Kent. The Mary Ann you found bn 3.3.1861 was she bn in or near Chawston? Thanks for your wonderful help.
