    3. Josie, You've possibly been too restrictive with your searches for these women by specifying Bedfordshire. Both look to have come from just across the border in Hertfordshire. There are user submissions for three Agnes Sam christenings in Pirton, Herts. They're probably all cousins, (for when your checking her ancestors) but I suspect the last one is her, making her father John. Depending in the age she was when christened, she's around 15 or 16 when married. One thing to remember, is that marriages usually occurred in the parish of the bride. So when you see George Butterfield married Joan Hurst in 1630 in Lilley, Herts, the "light goes on". Then when you look nearby in Hertfordshire, you see she was christened in 1610 at Sandridge to father Thomas. So that should get you started. Remember to check all the batches for Lilley, Sandridge, Pirton etc to look for other family members and relatives. Peter PS!! Google maps is always handy to use
