I am trying to trace my Family History. I am a member of the local Genealogy Society in Busselton W.A. and I was wonder if you might be able to point me in the right direction. My great grandfather was John Charles Smith born on the 9 January 1860 in Bozeat and he married an Elizabeth Emily Skevington (Smart) born 24 May 1863. Emily's father was Lucas Smart and he married Martha (Ann?)Skevington. She died on the 15th January 1872. She is apparently buried in the cemetery of a church in Bozeat. Are you able to help me out in any way. I would be most grateful as I have hit a brick wall and cannot go any further. My Grandmother passed away leaving a good bit of information but nothing before Lucas and Martha. John Charles Smith and Emily left from 15 North Street Leighton Buzzard to emigrate to Australia on the 21 November 1913. John was a retailer He had a Boot and Shoe Shop. I am also tracking the family of Jesse Gardiner who married a Jane Seymour(add to her name by herself) Butt they emigrated to Australia on the Trusty in 1842. This is as I can get here too.
