This districts includes Bozeat. The reference is District Wellingborough Volume 3b Page 197 With this reference and a credit card you can order a copy of the marriage certificate on line at http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/ Also on FreeBMD is the birth registration of Emily Skevington SMART in the June quarter of 1863. Parents had 6 weeks to register a birth, so Emily should have been born between late January and June. District Wellingborough Volume 3b page 143 The family was in Bozeat at the time of the 1871 census Luke SMART Head, Marr, age 32 shoe manufacturer born Bozeat Martha SMART Wife, Marr, age 31 born Bozeat Emily S. SMART dau age 7 born Bozeat William SMART son age 3 born Bozeat Walter SMART son age 1 born Bozeat The Northamptonshire Baptism Index has Lucas SMART son of Lucas and Hannah of Bozeat labourer 1838 7-Jan at Bozeat and this one may be Martha Martha Trusler SKEVINGTON dau of William Mary of Bozeat lace buyer 1838 26-Aug at Bozeat The marriage certificate will include the names and occupations of the fathers, so hopefully will confirm or eliminate these baptisms.
