Hello Peter, Thank you for the reply. I am looking for the marriage of John Harris and Mary ? the parents of William Harris born April 1, 1804. I need to find out the surname of Williams mother and proof of who his parents are William Harris married Mary Simons not Lemons. When the records for Shillington are studied carefully the S and L letters can mixed up and miss read. Shillington records do not include the marriage of John Harris to Mary. I believe that Mary came from a Parish near by and the marriage took place there. There is a John Harris who married a Mary Matthews in Luton in 1798. However the Church of England records for Luton are not available at LDS centres. I was hoping that maybe someone else has a branch of this family that could help. The children listed as a result of the marriage of William and Mary on Ancestry are correct.
