Peter There is a Bletsoe marriages on the PR microfiche for John Riseley of Sharnbrook to Elizabeth Makeham, with consent of parents - but you won't like this - I didn't write down the date ....as I got distracted; one witness was Richard Partridge - my gt-gt-grandfather whose marriage is on the same film - & I was comparing signatures. Anyway the Riseley/Makeham marriage was before 3 June 1818 as that's when Richard married Mary Nobles. Thank you to John Partridge and in particular Richard Webb for Bletsoe lookups that revealed the following. *********************** I checked the microfiche record of the Bletsoe Parish Register and can confirm John Riseley married Elizabeth Makeham. They were married on 27 February 1816 and the witnesses were Richard Partridge and Hannah Smith. Both John and Elizabeth made their mark on the register in lieu of signatures. As John mentioned the register indicates they were married with consent of parents. John was of Sharnbrook and Elizabeth Bletsoe. ************************* Peter
