Hello to all KING researchers I have had such an exciting and overwhelming response from my request. Thankyou so very much Bill, Sue,Carol, Mary Lou and Jerry and anybody else Imight have missed.. I have now found my husband's great grandfather's death place and date. I will confirm when I purchase his Certificate. I have filled in lot of gaps and added more names.. My husband's KING family lived around Billington, Beds, Ivinghoe, Bucks and Bulbourne,Tring, Leighton Buzzard, and then to Queensland, Australia. So far I have not linked my names to any of the family trees sent. There are many of the names the same as mine. I will get back to you as soon as I work through the new information. Thanks again for your help. Hi Folks, Agnes Fanny KING married George STONEBRIDGE in Sutton in 1892. Their gravestone is in Sutton churchyard. This is not my direct Stonebridge line, George was my 3rd. cousin twice removed (!!!) but I'd be interested to know of her parentage and also Stonebridge descendants. Jill
No I don't, Eileen, but I dearly wish I had some distinct names such as Tristram, in King tree. Mine were all John and William, Sarah and Elizabeth! And each generation used the same names.
Hi Jerry Thankyou for your King Family Tree file. This is the first time I have had such a great response to submitting the details online. I am just ready to go to the shops now, but we will get back to you. Your family tree seems like there are connections. Hi My KING connections are from Roxton, Chawson and Blestoe if anyone is interested in that area. Heather
Hi, Mary and Elizabeth, Just to add a couple more Kings to the list of those already floating around. 2 nee Kings come into ,my Favell tree, Frances King, Married George Favell on 20.08.1732 at Pertenhall, N Beds, on old Hunts border. Lucy King, 1804-1888 whose father was a John King, married John Favell on 26.10.1828 at Hemmingford Grey near Huntingdon. Both a way from those already mentioned but if they fit I may have more on their descendents via the Favell Line. A request from me, Is anyone looking at the Valentines of Cotton End / Cardington. I'm stuck around 1780, but believe there are connections to Toddington [Beds] and Bozeat [Northants] Any thoughts / help greatly appreciated. Good morning everyone It's great to see so much activity on the KING list, at last. I apologize for sending such a detailed report. I can't seem to figure out the nice condensed ones that others use. Stella, thanks for your note, although it is indeed two different Cook families, both with parents of Thomas and Martha. My family were at 1 Albert Street, Dunstable in 1881. You were a great help to me in the past, when I first started this addictive hobby about four years ago. Ian, I will search out those King/Tomkin marriages. Thanks for that info. My particular branch of King moved to Islington, London in 1881. Very best wishes Mary Lou on Vancouver Island, Canada
