I have searched for years to discover Martha's maiden name, when and where she was born, and when and where she and William FRESHWATER married - to no avail. I can only assume that she came from outside BDF, perhaps Hunts, Cambs, Herts or even Essex, and may have to throw the net wider. Or have I missed something obvious? Any help or suggestions welcomed. 3. Kerri, Even though it's the wrong list, I have a couple of suggestions. If you find the marriage of Henry and Anne on FreeBMD or FamilySearch and it is after 1837 when George was born, then you know Anne was probably married previously. And if you can find George in 1841 census it should be another proof. Who was recorded on his death certificate as his father?? Peter
