My paternal grandfather (as per father's birth certificate) is Irving Jack Bickwit with birthplace of Brooklyn, NY born in 1906. In his 20's, Irving was living in Florence, Ariz and had wed a Las Vegas singer by the name of Mae Leone Ohler. They gave birth to my father, Leonard Jack Bickwit on Aug 22, 1927 spelling as per birth certificate. Irving was raised in the Jewish faith and Mae was not of that background so they separated and Mae returned to California with Leonard Jack Bickwit. She gave my father the name of Jack Leonard Pool. All legal documents in my possession have a variation of name of father and grandfather. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
