Have you explored the Titus Beckwith married to Lizzie Howard line? Titus was born? In Lyme, Ct 30 Dec 1736, parents were Daniel Beckwith and Miriam Smith. Titus and Lizzie had the following children: Wheeler Daniel Rufus Titus died in 1802 at Chelsea, NY., but Paul Beckwith's book states that son Rufus was born in Chelsea NH. not NY. I do know my ancestor Hezekiah Beckwith (Great Grandson of Matthew Beckwith) migrated from Lyme, Connecticut to Dutchess County, New York in 1790.
