I have a family tree which was researched in the 1960s and shows the English Beckwiths. Marmaduke had several children - Thomas, William, Roger, Symon, Jane, Anne, Alice, Grace and Katherine. Roger had a son called Matthew and I'm currently in correspondence with someone else who is looking for the American Mathew (I'm in the UK) and I'll mention your post.
