I've seen that connection made on a few different trees, but haven't been able to track down an original source or confirmation of that. I'd be interested to see your tree and what sources they used. I've also begun Y-DNA testing and have made some progress with my US ancestry that way. Do you have any male Beckwith relations that might be interested in a DNA test?
