I have marriage and death certificates for both stating their father was William C and mother Phebe Sprague.They may have been only commonly law married for I have found no documentation of their marriage or divorce.They may have also had a older son Ralph Died Steuben County NY 1867. William went west in 1849 possibly thru Pa & Oh.
