The Longmont Ledger Longmont, Boulder Co, Colorado Friday, Decemeber 28, 1906 MARRIED: BECKWITH-MORTON--At the home of the bride's parents, in Longmont, December 25, 1906, Luman J. Beckwith and Miss Myrtle Vida Morton, both of Longmont, Rev. C. J. Howell officiating. They were married under an arch of ferns, holly and wedding bells, the rooms being decorated in pink and white; the bride wearing a dress of cream colored batiste, and held a bonquet of handsome roses. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Morton, who came to Longmont from Kansas a few years ago. The groom is the elder son and Mrs. Geo. L. Beckwith, who are among the oldest settler in this section. He is a farmer. An elegant dinner and wedding presents were features of the occasion.
