Evidently there are more Silas, Isaac and Benjamin Beckwiths than you can (insert cliche) at. Silas B 1751-1834 had three wives, plus a bunch of brothers. Two sets of kids. and two of his wives were named Anna so it's a lot to untangle. Silas 1751 born in Lyme, CT, father Benjamin, 1st set of sons Richard, Daniel and Henry (all b 1770-1776) Then he moved to Watertown NY (1777) and had another set of kids (b 1777- 1800): Isaac Beckwith Anna Y Beckwith Seth Smith Beckwith Benjamin Beckwith Silas Beckwith Samuel Beckwith Then somewhere between 1820-30 he moved to IL, stopping to have the occasional kid on the way? So there is a branch - I think of Henry - left in upstate NY and another in CT and my husband's branch, the first child of second marriage (another Isaac) who migrated to NC, just to make it hard on descendants. Do you have these online notes? Silas Beckwith, excerpted from "The Beckwiths", Paul Edmond Beckwith and Notes from Mary and Wally Erickson hope this is useful christine Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
