I find one Eliza that fits that time frame. Maybe this is her, but there is so little info on her that I can't be sure. page 140 George Beckwith, (1223) born East Haddam Ct, Feb 6, 1764; removed to Great Barrington in 1807. No wife listed. Issue: 1234 Penelope; married a Sandford 1235 Patience; married a Ely 1236 Maria; married a Davis 1237 Sarah 1238 Emily 1239 Eliza 1240 Erastus 1240 Allen 1242 Julius 1243 George; farmer at Great Barrington 1244 Baruch I can go further back on George's line if this turns out to be the line you are seeking. The Longmont Ledger Longmont, Boulder Co, Colorado Friday, Decemeber 28, 1906 MARRIED: BECKWITH-MORTON--At the home of the bride's parents, in Longmont, December 25, 1906, Luman J. Beckwith and Miss Myrtle Vida Morton, both of Longmont, Rev. C. J. Howell officiating. They were married under an arch of ferns, holly and wedding bells, the rooms being decorated in pink and white; the bride wearing a dress of cream colored batiste, and held a bonquet of handsome roses. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Morton, who came to Longmont from Kansas a few years ago. The groom is the elder son and Mrs. Geo. L. Beckwith, who are among the oldest settler in this section. He is a farmer. An elegant dinner and wedding presents were features of the occasion. There is also information on the web that he married a third time--a widow Sarah Starley. However, I don't have a date for that marriage and with the death dates in 1727 of Matthew and Elizabeth Griswold (with him dying in June and her in July) I don't see how that could be.
