Do any of you know this George Beckwith? He must have been a close friend of Isaac Van Deusen, the relative who died. It sounds as if "captain" relates to the Revolutionary War status. Its likely they link up in the 15th or 16th cent. in England, but unlikely that a match would occur in YDNA testing. That said, its still a fun project, and the matches that do occur tend to be helpful surprises. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
