Looking for the Beaver/Beavers line and I am not having any luck. This is what I do have. Minnie Beaver was born November 1863, Texas. she married Jesse Kinman, March 29, 1885, Erath County, Texas. In a letter dated 1977, it states that Minnie died on a reservation near Durant, Yarnaby Community, Oklahoma, buried in Yuba Cemetery. Father's name was Jim Beavers. It is believed the family was Cherokee, but Mr. Kinman (Jack, her son) said his mother was Regular Delaware. Minnie, returned to the reservation when she discovered she was going to die. She had a regular funeral and then an old Indian Chief performed ceremonial dances. The cemetery in Yuba is now on private property. No one is allowed on the property. Her grave was placed under a hugh Hackberry tree. The cemetery may not exist any more, because when someone went looking for it, they found the property the cemetery was suppose to be located on, was covered with heavy machinery. The man who owned the property was working on leveling, ect. Her death certificate is on record at the Durant Court house, Durant Oklahoma, which is only 17 miles from the Yuba Cemetery. It can not be read except the name is discernible. Jim Beavers the father of Minnie is buried in Oklahoma in Indian Territory near Ardmore. If anyone can help me with this family, I would be a very happy camper. Many thanks, Marika
