He married Delilah Bigley born about 1813 in Circleville, Columbus, OH. "Marriage Records of Highland County, Ohio (1805-1880)" BEAVER James m. Delilah BIGLEY Oct. 25, 1829 Regarding his family I have this from the 1850 Census of Pickaway County, OH Parish, Town, District, or City is Sciota Page No 69 James Beavers 43 m Farmer OH Delila 37 f OH Jane 17 f OH Elisha 15 m OH Naomi 13 f OH Jackson 11 m OH Mary 9 f OH Ortha 8 f OH Delila C. 5 f OH Regarding the death of James and what happened to one of his children I have this: "Wills, Administrations, Guardianships and Adoptions of Highland County, Ohio (1805-1880)" Feb. 16, 1857. Morris Cain appointed Guardian of Mary Beavers aged 16 years and 2 months, minor heir and legal representative of James Beavers, dec'd, late of Pickaway County, Ohio. Surety: Seldon Beavers. And from an email from a very nice lady named Gayle I have this on the family: The Riddle-Beavers Assoc. published a history book in 1981. I show James and Delilah Beavers as having seven children Jane, Elisha, Naomi, Andrew, Mary, Orpha, and Delilah. Jane b 1883 married Jacob Lewis Lentz. Elisha married Mary Ann Spargur; Naomi Beavers married James Franklin Fleming; Andrew married "Jackson" married Sarah Spargur, Mary Beavers married Morris Cain, Orpha Beavers married Mr. Timins and lived in OK, and Delilah married Will Morris. Orpha (shown as Ortha in 1850 census) married Henry Timmons, one of their daughter's, Magnolia married William Milo Riddle. Their oldest son Earl Alfred Riddle is my grandfather. So... anyone know this James?
