    2. Marika Kolb
    3. Looking for info on this family. Hope to find a new cousin. Marika Descendants of Minnie May Beaver Generation No. 1 1. Minnie May Beaver (Jim Beavers) was born November 1863 in Texas, and died 1918. She married Jesse Kinman March 29, 1885 in Erath, Texas, son of Sanford Kinman and Eliza Spradling. He was born October 11, 1860 in Texas, and died October 15, 1937. Notes for Minnie May Beaver: In a letter dated 1977, it states that Minnie died on a reservation near Durant, Yarnaby Community, Oklahoma, buried in Yuba Cemetery. Father's name was Jim Beavers. It is believed the family was Cherokee, but Mr. Kinman (Jack, her son) said his mother was Regular Delaware. Minnie, returned to the reservation when she discovered she was going to die. She had a regular funeral and then an old Indian Chief performed ceremonial dances. The cemetery in Yuba is now on private property. No one is allowed on the property. Her grave was placed under a hugh Hackberry tree. The cemetery may not exist any more, because when someone went looking for it, they found the property the cemetery was suppose to be located on, was covered with heavy machinery. The man who owned the property was working on leveling, ect. Her death certificate is on record at the Durant Court house, Durant Oklahoma, which is only 17 miles from the Yuba Cemetery. It can not be read except the name is discernible. Jim Beavers the father of Minnie is buried in Oklahoma in Indian Territory near Ardmore. Notes for Jesse Kinman: FHL Number 1026025 Jesse never road in a car. Even if he had a chance to ride, he would turn itdown. When Claudus moved to California, Jess would walk to visit him. During one of his trips, he was found dead on the road somewhere in Arizona. More About Jesse Kinman: Burial: Visalia, California (Tulare County) Children of Minnie Beaver and Jesse Kinman are: 2 i. 1. Info on James & Calvin Beavers
    2. Still trying to get info on James M. Beavers, born about 1804 in Va. Married Elizabeth Gill in 1836 in Clarke County GA. His son was Calvin C. Beavers. Some of his sons and grandsons used the name Bevers. Have not located a gravesite for Calvin, his first wife Martha Blair, or his second wife, Cinthia Williamson. The son of his first wife-Ira-had Calvin committed to the "insane asylum" in 1904 and he died there shortly after. He had a younger son, James Robert, who collected a couple months of civil war pension following his death, but he nor his wife ever collected. Would like to get in touch with decendents of Ira and Calvin to see if any other information has ever been located. Thanks for any info available. Bonita Beavers Eberhart Bonita D.
