Dear George, Are you related to George Price Beavers? George Price was my gg-grandfather. I would be interested in any of the new information you've mentioned if this is the same family. Thanks, Lynna Beavers Nix
If you somehow connect George Price Beavers to the Coles County, IL Beavers or the part that moved to Kansas and OK, I would like to know. All I have now is that Haywood Samuel Beavers' marriage into the Toothman line sort of backs into mine. But I have a lot of Beavers down the line. I suggest that you visit the Coles Co. Genealogical Society at the Charleston library. There is a great deal of "Beavers" history and family trees there. I would also suggest that you visit the Wiley Brick cemetery. The Coles Gen. Soc. has a card file of persons buried there. My grandparents, Thomas & Mary Etta, and gr-grandparents Solomon & Susannah are buried there, as are many of our "tree". However, Wm.& Nancy were buried in the "Beavers" graveyard by Salisbury church. I don't think any headstones remain. I moved to NV. some 46 yrs ago.
What state??????????

I was there when I was younger but can't remember much. Seems it was on the East side of road and we had just passed a cemetery when we got to it. I believe the cabin has been torn down and replaced with a house. The acreage was small, under 20. Maybe a house across the road or thereabouts. I am planning to visit the Parker and Beavers cemeterys also. Thanks again for your reply. JOHN

My GGGrandfather would have been a brother to the John you mentioned (B:1823). The John (my grandfather) that I am looking for, or rather looking for the location of the cabin that he and Helen(Parker) raised their 11 children in was born in 1873, and died in 1943. I would like to visit the cabin site and take pictures this spring. It was approx. 1 mi. E. and three mi. S. of Hutton. Thanks for your help. What was the descendency from your John to present?
