Hi Members of these three lists Beatty, Beaty, and Beattie. While doing cemetery research for the cemeteries in Yakima County, Washington, I found this listing for the BEATTY surname. Union Gap, Yakima Co., WA, Pioneer Cemetery ( This cemetery has no offical records that can be found. I am transcribing the headstones although, some are beyond reading. What I do know is that the cemetery was founded when Union Gap was named Yakima City. That name was changed to Union Gap by state legistration. abot 1909) The Stone is upright about 2ft wide by about 4 inches thick some wear but not vandleised like others in the cemetery. MOTA Daughter of T.M. & R. Beatty; Oct 5, 1902 - Jan 20, 1907; She was the sunshine of our home. Hope that helps locate a Beatty family for someone. I plan to do a full record of this cemetery for the Yakima Valley Historical Society. They have early newspapers from that area Maybe able to find more info on this Beatty family.
