Each application has the lineage of the person applying for membership to the war soldier. If you find a ancestor you can try to get the application(s) for the members that have joined through that soldier. Hope this helps someone. Notice that the DAR also has BATEY in this name group. I believe that the DAR considers these names to be interchangeable, that is why each soldier does not have his name listed with his posting.
