She married about 1795 JOHN FRANCIS (1767-1822) It was said that she came from the family who lived on the land of the White House. We think this must be mean a house of this description in the MD. I think she perhaps comes from William Beatty who was in TN, to. He was a member of the Ashfordby-Beatty family that came into NY and down to MD before moving south. They named a daughter Agnes, my great great grandmother, and that is a name prevalent in the Beatty family. I saw Robert Beatty's will in TN and a Jane is mentioned but not with her married name. I have so much information of the family but no proof of her parents. I am eager for any help or suggestions.
