A widow Jane Beaty married James Brooks on Nov. 27, 1829 in Maury County, TN. James and Jane moved to McNairy County, TN in 1834. She was born in VA in 1799. This is all the information I have. I am trying to find her maiden name. Perhaps there was a Beaty in Maury County, TN who died before the above date. Jane could have married the Beaty in Maury County, TN, in VA or even NC....since that's where James Brooks came from. I would appreciate any information in finding my gg grandmother's maiden name.
