William Henry BEATY (my ggrandfather)was probably born between 1825 and 1835, probably in Indiana or West Virginia. He married Louvina HALL and they had at least 2 children, Walter b 26 Mar 1872 in WV, and a baby girl probably between 1866 and 1873. William died about 1874 probably in Indiana or West Virginia. Louvina had at least 2 other husbands -- John Edward FORTUNE and Hiram E. SAYRE. Walter BEATY settled in Grant Co., OK in the Cherokee Strip and married Georgia DUNN and they had 7 children: Aubrey, Lawrence, Eugene, Alice, Amy, Nellie, and Thane. Walter later changed the spelling of his surname to BATY. Anybody of this line out there??

There was some Cherokee Indian in my line of Beaty's...could there be a connection here? I had a Leroy Malcolm Beaty or LM Beaty. And a Talitha Emily Beaty and a Archibald N. Beaty in my line. All born in the 1840-50's we THINK in Tenn. But are not sure where they were born. A _____ Henry Beaty was there father we think. He would have been born sometime in the early 1800's. So...could there be a connection of anykind here? Does anyone recognize anything in this line of my Beaty's??? I have had no connections for a year now! HELP! Sincerely, Tami Beaty
