My grandfather's cousin was named 'Larkin" as per my family bible. If you check the 1880 census for Gadsden Co.,FL you will find that Larkin was living with my grandfather,William(Willie) and greatgrandfather David Beasley. They are listed on the census under the household of D.J. Beasley along with my grandfather's siblings. My grandfather (married twice) was born 31July 1868 in Barbour Co.,AL and died 30 Dec 1956 in Waverly,Polk Co.,FL. I would be very interested in comparing notes to learn more of my origins.
