My G-Grandfather was James Henry Beasley (white) born 1848 in Alabama. He was disowned by his father (don't know who he was)because he married beneath him. He married a housekeeper Eugenia Alice Morgan (white) in Whistler AL in 1880. He was a fireman for the Mobile and Ohio Railroad. All of his children were born in Whistler, Alabama. They moved to Meridian MS(Lauderdale County) and in 1902 and he was killed while working for the railroad. James first wife was N.A Unknown Beasley. They had one child. I don't know if she died or they divorced. My Grandmother was Pearl Beasley born 1895 in Whistler, who married Carl Hutton Poythress in Meridian, MS. I sure hope some of this rings a bell. I have been searching for a connection to my G-Grandfather for 2 years. I have been told that his family never spoke to him again after he married my G-Grandmother.
