Some of the principals in writing, publishing and distributing the book, which was done privately, are deceased, and I do not know if it is available anywhere now. The book was not done according to the current conventional standards of organization or documentation. The material was gathered largely through soliciting information from living relatives, but sources are not given. There are branches that are not covered. The book is not indexed. However, given all these cautions, I do have a copy and could try to do limited lookups if that would be helpful. But keep in mind that the book is not indexed and unless I have a pretty specific idea of what branch to look at I'd have to go through the book page by page in order to find someone, and I don't think I'm ready to do that. I did not find a used copy using Bookfinder.com, and given the type of distribution and number of copies I'd think they don't come up often. If you have not tried asking on Rootsweb's Smith County (TN) mailing list you might try that as the book was done in Smith County and there are a lot of local people on that list who might know if copies are available.
