It is believed that he had a first wife that he married in Kentucky. They had the following children: John C. b.1816, Jesse b.1818, Champion S. b.1820 and Lucinda b. 1821. After the apparent death of his first wife he married Jane P.B.(maiden name unknown) about 1823 and they had the following children:Joseph b. 1824, Elizabeth b. 1826, James b. 1828, Silas b. 1830, William Oliver b1833, Sarah Ann b. 1835, Isaac H. b. 1840(my husbands ggrandfather) and Rachel J.b. 1842. The first 4 children were said to have been born in Warren Co. Ky. and the ones with Jane were all born in Simpson Co. Ky. Kathy Evans
