I was wondering if the William Pitt that you have listed as the father of John Pitt Beasley is the same as the William Pitt who was the Prime Minister of England around the time of the revolution. I have found quite a few web pages that state this and it seems a little incredible. If it is true, could you tell me where I might find some evidence for this.
