My Amanda married a man named Miles McCurdy sometime before 1869. Amanda appears on the 1880 Scott County, Mississippi Census with her husband and their children... Mary - daughter, f, s, w, 8, MS, at home, fa:AL, mo:FL McCurdy, W. Robert - son, m, s, w, 6, MS, at home, fa:AL, mo:FL McCurdy, James C. - son, m, s, w, 4, MS, at home, fa:AL, mo:FL McCurdy, Dan T. - son, m, s, w, 2, MS, at home, fa:AL, mo:FL * It is (incorrectly?) stated on the census that Amanda's birthplace was Florida. Her parents birthplace appears consistant. Amanda's gravestone in Shiloh Cemetery in Yazoo Mississippi reads...
