David, My James Henry Beasley fought for the South during the War of Northern Aggression and lived in Fayette Co. TN from shortly before 1830 as he is on that census with his parents and lived here in TN until his death in the 1920's. Henry's father was John Ruffin Beasley B1809 in NC married Harriet Broom of Franklin NC. John's father was Merrill B1782 in NC married Ann? Orange NC who was from VA. Merrill's Father was Henry B1821 married Elizabeth Hatley Henry's father was Henry B1795 and there I am stuck. If you know of any other Beasley's that might have information please pass this along with my name .
